Bremen, I <3 you

Going out from the doors of the Cinemaxx, the first thing I've heard from my colleagues was - "damn, so cold outside". Cold? I was glowing - one of the best weather possibilities in this city. Foggy, rainy air, about 8 degrees and ... empty streets. I love to walk in this weather from the train station to my home, which makes about 5 km... But that long walk is really worth it. During such late evenings I tell myself again and again: "Damn, I love this city"...

Bremen at 10 pm is quiet and beautiful. And if it rains, you will see only some random person going back from a cafe to a car or to the bus stop. I lived during my studies in Belarus in a 3-million-people city, so this quietness and emptiness still surprises me. But look around! The city is sparkling in a thousand ways - the lights are mirroring in every drop of the fog or the rain. That's when you get the feeling that you are in the middle of a dream or a fairytale! Even the old buildings in the city centre remind you of some small towns or villages from the tales of brothers Grimm!

The best way to enjoy this weather is to put your earphones on and hear your favorite music - that's the meditation I need after a busy day or week. You hear to some song and imagine that there is only you and the city. And the rain drops falling gently onto your skin of the face...
